AYSO Region 232 provides a family-based, all-volunteer, recreational
soccer experience for kids across the Verde Valley whose birth dates are
between August 1st, 2001 and March 1st, 2011 (About 4.7 years to 13
years old on July 31st of the current year). Determined to be safe, fun
and fair we are guided by six basic principles: open registration,
balanced teams, everyone plays, positive coaching, good sportsmanship,
and player development.
Everyone plays (at least half of every game), Balanced teams (new
teams every year is fairer and more fun), Open registration (all you
have to have is the desire to play), Positive coaching (more fun leads
to better skills and motivation), Good sportsmanship (safe, fun and fair
is more important than the score), and Player development (every kid
deserves the chance to be as good as they can be).
Remember to register early for next season. Typically registration is open mid-April.
