We're thrilled to invite your young athletes to mark their calendars for the Verde Valley United FC tryouts and player showcase! This is an exceptional opportunity for players aged 9 to 18 to join our competitive soccer program and elevate their game. Below are the important details:
Tryout Dates and Times:
May 7th
U10 and U12 Tryouts: 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM (Warm-up starts at 4:15 PM)
U14, U16, and U19 Tryouts: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM (Warm-up starts at 5:45 PM)
May 11th
U10 and U12 Tryouts: 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM (Warm-up starts at 8:15 AM)
U14, U16, and U19 Tryouts: 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM (Warm-up starts at 9:45 AM)
June 1st
U10 and U12 Tryouts: 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM (Warm-up starts at 8:15 AM)

Registration opens on April 24th and will be conducted online at AYSO232.org. Amazing news - tryouts are FREE!
Team Opportunities & Tryout Objectives:
Our tryouts aim to fill open roster spots across various age groups and introduce new teams based on interest. This initiative is part of our mission to offer advanced level soccer training and competitive play experiences. We're keen on building skills, sportsmanship, and a deep love for the game.
Special Note for Parents: If your player is considering not continuing beyond May, please inform your coach by May 1st.

Upcoming Season Costs Overview
As we gear up for an exciting soccer season, we want to ensure that all families are aware of the costs associated with participation in our competitive program. For newly joining players, there will be a one-time cost of $275 for the player kit. This kit includes the necessary gear for the season, ensuring that our athletes look and feel their best on the field.
In addition to the player kit, there are tournament entry fees. Our teams typically participate in tournaments that have entry fees ranging from $600 to $750. This cost breaks down to approximately $40 to $50 per player, per tournament. Tournaments are an excellent opportunity for our players to challenge themselves, grow as athletes, and bond as a team.
Additionally, one of our newly added positions of Club Liaison will be responsible for helping faciliate friendly games with our neighboring clubs and towns.
